Presenting our Children to the Lord
At Guilgal Seventh-day Adventist Church, we believe that children are a precious gift from God. Our Baby Dedication service is a sacred moment where parents publicly commit to raising their child in the knowledge, love, and guidance of Jesus Christ. It’s not a baptism, but a heartfelt act of gratitude and faith—asking God’s blessing over the life of the child and the family.
What to Expect
During the dedication service, our pastoral team will pray over your child, your family, and your spiritual journey as parents. The church family also pledges to support you in raising your child in a Christ-centered environment. This special occasion typically takes place during our main worship service and can be personalized with a short message, scripture, or family prayer.
A Biblical Foundation
We are inspired by 1 Samuel 1:27-28, where Hannah said, “I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord.” Like Hannah, we joyfully return our children to God’s hands, trusting Him with their future
