Welcome to Education Ministry!

“Empowering Minds, Shaping Faith”

The Education Ministry at Guilgal-SDA Church is devoted to promoting academic excellence and spiritual growth through Christ-centered learning. We believe that true education goes beyond books—it nurtures the heart, strengthens character, and prepares individuals to live a life of purpose and service. From supporting Adventist education to hosting seminars and workshops, our ministry aims to inspire lifelong learning rooted in biblical values.

The goal of the Education Ministry is to equip students of all ages with knowledge, wisdom, and a deep connection to Christ. Its objectives include supporting parents and students in Adventist schooling, offering scholarships and school supply drives, organizing educational events for the church, and collaborating with Sabbath School and youth ministries to foster spiritual and intellectual development.

Guided by Proverbs 1:7“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction,” we believe education is a sacred calling that shapes future leaders for God’s kingdom. To learn more, volunteer, or seek support, contact us at secretariat@guilgalsda.org.

We believe in caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Through healthful living and spiritual growth, we honor the body as God’s temple and seek abundant life in Him.

What to expect

Visiting for the first time? Here’s everything you need to know…from what to bring and how to dress to what our worship experience feels like. We want you to feel right at home.

We recommend bringing a Bible (digital or print), a notebook if you’d like to take notes, and a heart ready to worship and connect. If you’re coming with children, feel free to bring anything that keeps them comfortable during service. We also provide visitor cards for prayer requests or questions.

Come as you are! Many of our members wear modest, semi-formal attire for Sabbath worship—dresses or skirts for women, and dress shirts or suits for men—but casual and neat clothing is perfectly welcome. What matters most is your presence, not your outfit.

Giving is completely voluntary. If you’d like to support the church, we accept tithes and offerings during service or online. No pressure—your presence is the greatest gift.

Sabbath School begins at 9:15 AM, and the main French worship service typically starts at 11:00 AM. We encourage arriving 10–15 minutes early to find seating and settle in. The English worship service starts at 12:15 PM

Children and youth are encouraged to dress modestly and comfortably. For youth programs or special events, we may suggest specific attire—but we always prioritize making every young person feel welcomed and loved.

Warm, vibrant, and spirit-filled. Expect heartfelt worship, uplifting music, meaningful teaching, and a friendly, multicultural church family ready to welcome you with open arms.
